  1. If we are all lucky, some day a movie star will make an appearance on Oprah or Larry King and announce that they have a young adult with autism. They will say how hard they worked to treat their child but that in the end, they love, accept even celebrate their child as they are! Those of us with teens and young adults with autism have struggled, to say the least. But as my twenty one year old autistic son says “Nobody’s perfect. We need all kinds of people in this world.” Amen
