When milk bottles say Boo! If you ever thought small plastic milk bottles were useless junk, think again.

Jane from Fun in the Making, a green crafting website with sustainable living tips, sent this ghostly project to me.

She collects single-use milk bottles from places like Chic-fil-A and turns them into fun Halloween favors for her parties. Visit Easy Ghost Party Favors for instructions from Jane. You’ll have fun deciding what to put inside your ghosts.

These are too cute. I will have to try them. My family likes to bake in the fall, so we make Halloween cookies, etc.

Those are clever. We only make the edible crafts at our house but as my son gets older, hopefully we can do a little more creative decorating. Thanks!

for my daughter’s class we are spray painting soupcans black, adding raffita, twine to make a scarecrow. The kids are painting the face which will be filled with treats for the fall harvest party, halloween is banned by the district

  18. These are very cute! I don’t think I would want to dig around in the trash at a fast food restaurant to collect them though…

  19. Peggy says:

CanCan, me either. But maybe a friend with kids who eat there could collect them for you. :)

  20. Jessi A says:

Not this year but now I feel bad about it.

  22. Kristen says:

These are so cute! Unfortunately, we’ll be gone for Halloween so we aren’t doing much this year… :( I usually like to make wreaths out of sticks and freshly fallen leaves, though.

  23. Kam A says:

    What a fun idea!

  24. Gina says:

Cute little ghosts! My favorite crafts are ones my kids did at preschool – painted a candy corn shape, and took a black construction paper bear – glued a white “skull” on his head and used cotton swabs for the “bones” to make a little skeleton bear. It is the cutest thing! But anything with candy corn and acorns is also a favorite. I love those “signs of fall” :)
