Remade Roses That Last Forever

If you’re dealing with dead Valentine’s Day flowers about right now, you may want to ask for something different next time. The sweet roses below are eco-friendly because they use existing materials – books, money and elephant poop! No pesticides required.
First up, paper roses made from odorless and sanitary elephant dung. They’re crafted in Thailand and for sale at Uncommon Goods.

Or, if you want something you can spend later, go for Money Roses from Paper Blooms. They use real money that’s still spendable.

For more traditional paper love, try Love Comes Naturally Romance Paper Roses from Anne Musing Designs. They’re made from romance novels.

Would you prefer to receive remade roses instead of live ones?

I like receiving a live plant that I can put outside in the garden in the spring
I thought it was just me! I’ve enjoyed receiving live flowers on very few (really romantic) occasions. I would really prefer a plant I can plant or these darling ideas.
Thanks Peggy!
Hi Cyndi and Eileen. I’m the same way. Besides, there’s not a place in this apartment where I can put flowers that my cat can’t get to.
