Remembering A Weekend Away

Looks like Kerri and I will be finishing up this month with some reflections on our weekend away. I’ll get things started.
In short, it was fantastic. Anyone in this part of the country could do worse than visit the Hocking Hills region of Ohio. The landscape was beautiful, and I get the feeling that this is one of the least attractive seasons. (Too late for autumn color and too early for winter ice formations.) We had delicious meals and a warm, comfortable cottage. The nearby town of Logan had a nice Main Street and diner. The weather was crisp and dry for our hike. I’m proud to give the Inn at Cedar Falls some link love. I hope we can go back soon.

And the timing of the trip was perfect! It was the anniversary trip we didn’t think we get to make; the pep talk at halftime of a long spell at work; and the holiday escape for the two of us. Three cheers to Kerri’s mom, who helped make it possible by watching the kids. She doesn’t yet live on the web, so the best I can do to reciprocate here is link to one of her favorites, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

lol @ linking to the Steelers
You’ve got give love to receive it.
