Remote Control Storage

This is really more of a fantasy remote control storage, because I’m not sure who would use it. I don’t think I’d like to display remotes on my wall like some art object, but then again, I haven’t been a huge TV fan since X-Files ended, so…

Now, what do you think? I originally saw this remote holder at one of my favorite blogs, the genius MoCo Loco, and they think it needs more holders, because what type of house has just three remotes? Do you agree? I do actually only have two remotes at my house, but my house may be in the minority

  1. This RC Storage would work for me if I could mount it on the inside of my entertainment center so I could keep it out of site. It would work for me if my kids would actually use it ;). What works for me realistically is a small basket and a basket fits my decor. Nice idea though.

We have a couple remotes but only one we use regularly so the rest sit on top of the DVDR. I wouldn’t want that hanging on my wall but I suppose if you mounted it to the inside of a cabinet door it would be handy.

You two are so clever - this would be perfect inside a shelf or entertainment center, where you can’t see it. Great idea.

AMAR, it’s from http://nylenmedia.se/, but I don’t know if there are US markets or not, I’m thinking this was more a MoCo art piece; because I’ve never seen one actually for sale that’s just like this except for at the site above, and it’s not in English. Sorry :(
