Resources to Get You On Your Way

OK for any newcomers I am going to provide you with a basic layout of resources you can find on the internet for dads and stay at home dads…

First and foremost, the most active forum based community for dads who are staying home can be found at dadstayshome.com… lot’s of fun discussions. To enter the Pub you need to get permission. Must be a dad…

One of the first dad blogs to hit the web is Rebel Dad. Good list of resources and I believe he keeps up to date on conventions, etc.

One of my favorite sites to read is a blog out of Idaho called, A Family Runs Through it. Phil, the owner is a very active dad with tons of adventures. Updates daily…

On to books.

There are 3 books I recommend Stay at Home Dads read. The first one, believe it or not is written by a woman.
Stay-At-Home Dads: The Essential Guide to Creating the New Family

The other 2 books are written by men from experience.

The Stay at Home Dad Handbook has a good basic layout of the essentials needed for preparing and surviving the hardships of the SAHD role. His website can be found at At Home Dad.
