Results: Do you have a favorite art quote?

It’s not an art quote but I use it as such. It’s a Spanish saying:
“LOVE IS A FURNACE, BUT IT WILL NOT COOK THE STEW.”
When applied to art, to me it means that artistic passion is the FUEL, but I still need to actually make the art.
