For those days when I get in a rut, which isn’t often, I keep back boxes of supplies from different dealers that I have never opened.  When I finish the project that I’m working on, I get to open a new box and get inspired all over again.

Well that’s a neat way to push yourself to finish a project! I don’t have boxes unopened but I could go through the bags of supplies I’ve never used!

Every time I rummage through my boxes, I find something I forgot I had :-)

I have a few ways to get myself out of a rute. One and my favorite thing is to make my little girls jewelry instead of the jewelry i make to sell i make thing that i want my little girls to keep as a family heirloom to pass on to their children. Another one is to gather as many as 20 to 40 different beads findings and mix them together and ideas just start following. Another is work with my littlest designer my 8yr old she always has fresh ideas that i could add to and she loves it when she make a sell or a few. I hope I have inspired those in a rute. Thank you

Sigrid, I especially like the way you have decided to use the time that could be frustrating to create something special for your own family! Great ideas :-)
