Revisting a Special Moment

In this blog many of the journal writing prompts and challenges are about revisiting moments in our lives, special or not so special. Think about one of those special moments. Search for a moment so good you’d give anything to experience it all over again. Now write about that moment. Spend time going over the details of that experience. Try to define the emotions you lived through at that time. Enliven your senses by writing about the minute details of the event, the usual smell, sound, etc, but don’t forget a sense of time and where you were, outside or inside. Can you possibly repeat this moment? Why or why not? Would you want to?
Spend time with these ideas in your journal today. I hope you enjoy this journal writing prompt. Please leave any comments in the section below. Today if you do leave comments you may win a prize.

What a great blog you have here!
This is a site I will return to. I used to write daily in a journal and then life somehow got in the way. I’d like to revisit that life-affirming habit now, as I’m growing older and want to make sense of me and of my life.
Journaling is a great outlet. Thanks for the great contest!
I look back in my scrapbooks of my children and LOVE all the “smaller” details I chose to write about. The details do make a difference!
Thanks for these last few comments, too. Sorry, you were too late for the draw, but there is a new comp being posted today. I am pleased to hav inspired you to write and use your journals for your special moments.

There are so many memories that I will share through a journal
I have kept a journal since I was 11yo. I feel that someday my story can be told through my words not someone elses interpretation.
i do a couple of journals, they make you feel better, and work out problems!
