Rock Concerts with Parents??

Robert Plant Victoria Concert (Lithograph)

This is becoming more and more common and I love the idea!

That was unheard of when I was a kid, simply because it wasn’t cool and our tastes in music was so far apart. But we started taking our kids from the time they were about eight years old. Both had a love of music and they simply were too young to go on their own… so we went too.

And before we knew it, they were listening to our music and picking up their own CDs… of our music! I can’t remember just how many concerts we have been to over the years, but I think that it has to be really cool when your kids are comfortable going to concerts with their parents! Sometimes I think that our kids are a lot smarter than we were at their age!

And yes, all four of us went to see Robert Plant and had a great night together… mom, dad and the kids! I’m thinking that since they are a lot older now, maybe sometime in the near future, they will be taking and paying for us!!
