Rodney Atkins Named Spokesperson
The National Council for Adoption has named Rodney Atkins, an award winning country music star, the 2007-2008 National Celebrity Spokesperson of the Year.
Atkins won the Academy of Country Music’s “Best New Make Vocalist” award in 2006 and served as keynote speaker and special musical guest at the Families for All National Parent Recruitment Summit in October.
“These children are the future of our nation and our families. It is important that we make sure they are taken care of,” says Rodney.
So why is America only spending 1.3 % to find and train parents to foster and adopt children?
