Roll That Pumpkin
Last week I asked people to send me pictures of “kids and pumpkins” to kick off the season. Our first submission was Katie in the pumpkin patch.
Ken from Portland, Oregon just emailed me a picture of his son with a pumpkin. He told his kids they could have any pumpkin as long as they could carry it. Well, Ken’s son couldn’t pick up the one he wanted so you see him here rolling it. Great picture and thanks Ken for sending it to me. Bad timing, my digi camera’s batteries died while we were at the pumpkin patch, snapped one picture before it died and not a very good one
Pumpkins in my area (upstate, NY) were not too great this year, too much rain caused alot of fungus and we were lucky to find 4 pumpkins that were in ok shape.
