Royal Journal Writing

March 19, 2006 by Heather Goldsmith

Prince Charles is happy that the courts ruled in his favour over the publication of extracts from his personal travel diaries. Read about it here, here and here. I did read more on this earlier this year or late last year, but the matter is far from resolved. Prince Charles still has more legal battles to come. Seven more of his travel journals are still held by the Mail on Sunday. Apparently Charles is an avid journal writer who believes in history. The issue raises some important questions over the right to privacy of any journal writer and the freedom of the press.
