Last night I shared a recipe with you for Coconut Rum Custard Pie from Tortuga Rum. They sent me one of their Original Rum Cakes with with walnuts to sample. I have a confession! I didn’t share it with anyone else in my family. It was so good I saved it all for myself.
It wasn’t one of the large cakes, it was a small sample size cake, but I still had enough to share, if it wasn’t so delicious. I usually share all the samples I get with my family, and let them give their opinions. But this little cake was just too good.

Tortuga Rum Cakes are made from a 4 generation old family recipe. Each cake is hand glazed with a special oak-barrel aged Tortuga gold rum. This makes the cakes super moist and rich.
The Rum Cakes don’t need any extra flavor additions to be fabulous, but they’d pair well with fresh summer fruits, whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, or chunked up and dipped in chocolate fondue for a party.
The little rum cake was one of the yummiest things I’ve ever had the opportunity to taste test. If I would rate it I would give it 5 out of 5 stars for flavor.

I tried one of those cakes myself and they are rummy good!
