Rural Design Project in Skye

Don’t you think it’d be nice to live somewhere called Skye? I do. This little beauty is located at the north west edge of Skye, Western Isles. I really love this house. Of course the oddball shaping is nice, but what I like best is the color contrast. It’s surprisingly stark but overall soothing. Yes, that makes no sense; my brain is just thinking thoughts as I type.

Then you flip around to the other side of this beautiful house and guess what…

It’s a whole different look – not so stark, a great green roof, and almost a pretty rural farmhouse shape. Different from the side view.

This is just a totally great house. The right size, the right colors, lovely landscape, and of course located in Skye. See the interior of this rural project.

Went to the RDA website; nice, Quiet stuff. Not flashy, just solid appearing simple forms with pleasing detailing. Not enough interior views to really form an opinion, but what you do see is fairly straightforward and clean. I’d live in one….*S*
