Here’s a fun paper art idea for yourself or to do with your kids! Megan, at BrassyApple blog has given a great demo complete with lots of pictures, showing you how to use an inexpensive salad spinner to create wonderful, bright, and fun spin art! Thanks, Megan!

I think it would be really fun to use some of these as backgrounds for other work too. Megan also runs the Brassy Apple Flickr group, where people can upload and share projects they have completed that they’ve seen on her blog!

Great idea! My kids have one of those spin art machines and it’s always getting plugged up – not to mention it’s a total pain to clean! I’ve got one of these I never use – but it never dawned on me to use it for art. Thanks for the great idea and the link to Megan’s blog! You’re always finding neat stuff. ;)

Hey Katherine, it’s a rough job finding interesting artsits, but someone’s got to do it LOL!!

We have one of these still in the plastic, but I doubt my hubby would let me use it for this. I love this idea though. This is excellent for kids too.
