Salad With Your Wine?

If you, like me, love Sauvignon Blanc or any other crisp, citrusy white wine, this salad is for you.  It’s a take on one of my favorites—the caprese— but the presentation makes a simple meal super fancy.  I got the idea reading a wine/food/life blog called Noble Pig. It looked good and it tasted good. I can’t recall what wine I had when I made it last month, but right now my mouth is watering for bite-size morsels of mozzarella and tomato dipped in basil pesto, washed down with cold, refreshing wine, with the acidity to stand up to the balsamic vinegar I decided to drizzle over the final product.
