Saying Goodbye To Plastic Bags

After a day of shopping, we all would usually go home carrying the new stuff we purchased in plastic bags. So just imagine, if you were out for a day and you bought one item in 10 stores, you are most probably going home carrying ten plastic bags.
Well, things might be changing though in Australia for Minister for the environment Peter Garrett has a solution – scrap plastic shopping bags and then use a new type of bag that is biodegradable. Yes, this biodegradable shopping bag is manufactured by Biograde Ltd.
The bag is made from resins that are also biodegradable and the company has a plant in China. The resin used for bags can also be used to create cups, mugs, packaging, and even utensils.
This kind of product is really interesting. Imagine, going shopping and not having to worry about trash for whatever you bought can be contained in a biodegradable shopping bag. Nice.
