School memories in the making

Tomorrow my daughter should be up quickly because it’s the school’s carnival day. They’ll have face painting, outdoor play, a horse-drawn wagon ride, cocoa, cookies, a movie, popcorn, the works.
She can’t wait. In fact she’s still trying to fall asleep because she’s just so excited. I hope she sleeps soon so she’s not too tired to enjoy the day. If nothing else, then she’ll be exhausted tomorrow!
I remember how much fun school carnival was. I can’t wait to hear how it went for her.
(It also makes me feel old when I realize how long ago those days were. What’s making you feel old in regards to your kids’ experiences?)
