Science & Health Channel Topic du Jour: Summer

It’s August and the dog days of summer are in full effect. Just getting to the car puts me at risk for sun burn. (Note: I park at the back of the lot.) So, it is in the cool comfort of my living room that I compose the following poem, my contribution to this month’s Topic du Jour.

There once was a Bald Man from Dayton,
Who went for a jog in the sun.
The day was so hot
His innie popped out!
And a timer went, “Ding! Bald Man’s done!”
