Scrapbook sales are on!

Doesn’t it make your eyes pop out and your adrenalin shoot through the roof when you see signs outside stores that say 20% off or whatever! The scrapbook stores are still at it — luring us to shop that is!

It’s quite confusing — other sites say that the National Scrapbooking Day is on the 1st of May while others say it’s on the 7th! Oh well, what’s important is that the online scrapbook stores are out to beat everyone else with their best sales. Here’s a rundown of all known scrapbook sales online (I am subscribed to all these stores):

Christine’s Comments: I have not shopped at Croppers Cottage although a number of my scrapper friends have and the feedback have been great. I have asked a few questions about some of their listed items that have been promptly replied to so I have got not problems there.
2. Scrapbook.com

The hours will be filled with chatting on a special message board, posting in a special gallery and a lot of trivia, games, contests and lots of prize give-aways! Christine’s comments: I have not personally shopped at 2peas but this site is my favourite resource for layout ideas apart from Creating Keepsakes. When I am stumped for ideas, I browse through the layouts of the Garden Girls (2peas’ regular contributors). A scrapper friend of mine says that it takes quite a bit of time before they ship items because of the volume of orders so if you are in a hurry to get your order, I advise you not to buy from 2peas

Christine’s comments: I have shopped in addictedtoscrapbooking (ATSB) heaps and heaps of time. Hands down, ATSB is my favourite on their customer service and packaging! If you are buying outside the US, their shipping rates are reasonable too. Their shipping rates depend on the total cost of your order rather than the weight so if it is worth buying from their site if you want to bulk up on packs and packs of heavy cardstocks or bulky items because the shipping rate is well-worth it! They also vacuum-pack your order so the items arrive in pristine condition. I am a very satisfied customer! The only downside that I can think of is that they do not carry the most popular brands of scrapbooking products such as Chatterbox, KI Memories, K&Co, Bazzill and the like but hey, they have Making Memories and that alone makes it worthwhile to check their sight out!
