Scrapdango – Sept Guest Designer Contest

Scrapdango has a Guest Scrapbooking Design Team Call for the month of September. The submissions are due August 15 so you do have a week left. Good luck to everyone!

The first part of the challenge is that the layout must be school themed, but don’t worry if you don’t have any school photos. It can also be about what you or anyone has learned in the school of life–any wisdom that you have to share that you have learned over the years.

Here are the other recipe elements your layout must have:

1. At least one photo
2. Brads
3. Chipboard
4. Doodling (no matter how small the amount)
5. Envelope

Notice how my elements are in alphabetical order?

I know the envelope may be a bit different but this can be any type of envelope, big or small, including handmade ones to maybe hold journaling or anything else. Get creative.

Your layouts are due by August 15th and must be uploaded in the gallery in the September Guest Designer search section and be copied to this thread.

And here are a few other rules:

• Must be a new layout created for this contest. Layout must be your original design, no sketches.
• Please upload your entries to the September Guest Designer Search section in the Gallery – we will get it up as soon as the gallery is back up. Also post the layout or link to it.
• Only one entry per person
• Deadline for entries is Midnight 8/15/09. Winner will be announced shortly after that.
• If you have been a Guest Design Team member on Scrapdango in the last 3 months you can’t try out again this time.
• This is open only to U.S. and Canadian applicants at this time.
• To be considered, your participation on the Scrapdango forum is required. We want to get to know you, so come on in and say hi if you are new to Scrapdango and just make sure you have at least 60 posts and your layout uploaded by the deadline to be considered. Please note: only legitimate posts will be considered in reaching the minimum 60 posts.
• We will select one winner from the entries who will serve as Guest Designer for September.

Guest Designers responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit designs using an upcoming featured Scrapdango kit. GDT members will do 3 layouts (1 must be a 2 page layout) and a 4th project that can be either a layout, an altered item, or a couple of cards.
• Featured on the Scrapdango Blog and Forum
• Participate in planned activities on the Forum during your featured month (such as run a weekly DT challenge/crop/contest/game).
• Daily posting on the boards (QOTD/SQOTD/LOTW) GDT members would be responsible for 1 week of these.
• Leaving praise in the gallery
