Why thank you, Jennifer, for your kind words and this nice link. I wish I had the discipline to stick to one awesome theme, as you do here, but my blog is a bit of a mish-mash. Ostensibly it's about the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle, but it's really more about the Georgetown neighborhood, plus all the other places I go. Especially gardens.

Since it is a mish-mash, I'd like to be presumptuous enough to point you to a few specific links your readers might like. These are all pictures of weird homes.

1. My pics of the wonderful yard that this post is about.

2. Rich Art's yard in Centralia, Washington. Even weirder than Dick & Jane's spot.

3. My favorite house in Seattle. My friends live here. They're artists, and they've done amazing work on their house and yard.

4. Georgetown Castle, also in Seattle. It's definitely old; it's supposedly haunted.

More here:

5. This place, the Bridge Motel, was a short-term residence for many people. My husband's parents stayed here when they first moved to Seattle. These shots are from the pre-demolition party.

Thanks again!
