Most of us are aware that the cheetah is the fastest land animal, but do you know who comes in second?

Why, it’s the pronghorn, which can run at speeds of 60 mph. And the Queens Zoo in Flushing, NY now has three pronghorn fawns to show off: two boys and a girl born in June. You can see the fawns run around in the video below. The zoo’s website refers to them as a “zippy trio.”
Visit the pronghorn fawns — Dugan Jr., Mags, and J.R. — during special sessions at 10:15 am and 2:40 pm each day at the Queens Zoo, which is open 365 days a year.
Other exhibits at the AZA-accredited Queens Zoo include Great Plains (coyotes and bison), South American Trail (Andean bears and thick-billed parrots), Woodland Trail (lynx, puma, elk and owls), Waterfowl Marsh (sandhill cranes and trumpeter swans), Sea Lion Pool and Domestic Animals.
Have you seen a pronghorn run?
