Seriously? Give Me Back My What?

I just read this news account of the most ridiculous divorce suit ever. Are you ready for this? Absolutely sure?
All right.
Take a deep breath, make sure there is not coke, tea or coffee in your mouth and read on.
Apparently Dawnelle Batista has had kidney problems for much of her life. In 2001 her husband, surgeon Richard Batisa donated one of his healthy kidneys to his wife.
You guessed it folks. Mr. Batista wants his kidney back OR payment for the organ in the sum of 1.5 million dollars.
I am pretty sure that since Mr. Batista is a surgeon, MRS. Batista isn’t going to stick her tongue out at him and say “Come and get it, jerk.” but how incredibly stupid is this suit?
Isn’t possession 9/10ths of the law? I mean, seriously?

He must really hate her.
That is what I think. I mean that is cold, blind rage right there.
These two live in my area. He’s mad because she had an affair and is leaving him.
Obviously, organs in the USA cannot be “bought” and so he’ll never get either cash or the organ. He was seeking to extract a pound of flesh (literally) for making him look like a fool. He is a DR in town and felt hurt and betrayed. Guess the publicity and sympathy didn’t hurt his practice either.
It is ridiculous. Most everyone I know is just rolling their eyes at another person seeking their 15 minutes of fame.
Andrea,to some extent I can understand. I mean being cheated on and decieved? Ew. Sadly, I guess that any compassion anyone would have for him as the cuckold in this thing would be overshadowed by the disgust at how he handled it. I guess it should be a lesson to all of us to be ce careful of our responses! LOL!
