You really need to look at Famundo, http://www.famundo.com. It’s got a calendar for everyone in the family plus a lot more stuff. The really cool thing about it is that I get my kid’s school schedules filled in for me automatically, because out school uses it also. And it’s free.

We have a huge calendar hanging in the kitchen. EVERYTHING gets recorded there. If it not on the calendar, it’s not happening! LOL!

An online calendar is great as it is accessible from any internet-connection. But my experience is that it works smooth in the beginning, then after a while, we forget to fill in appointments. I am planning on buying a blackboard with enough space to plan the coming week. Or maybe just paint a door with blackboard-paint. Easy, erasable, accessible for the kids, fun for spontanious drawings and cool!

I used a big-block calendar taped to the fridge when my son was young. Never enough room, no matter how large the blocks were, lol!

I use good old Microsoft Outlook (NOT Express!) and a Blackberry.

I print out the weekly calendar and tape it to the bedroom door for my husband; I carry the Blackberry.
