Seven Weird Things Challenge

The other day a good friend tagged me with this challenge. I’ve decided to make a journal writing prompt out of it; at least to challenge you to use it that way. So, if you feel like sharing seven weird things about yourself, go right ahead. Please use the comments section below or leave a link there. If you feel more comfortable just write them in your journal.
Thing 1: I am 42 years old, but still feel about 15 most of the time.
Thing 2: I began writing an online diary/blog 14th August 2000, which was hubby’s birthday.
Thing 3: I can bend the top joints of my fingers without having to bend the other joints.
Thing 4: I have two teens & a toddler. Not too many people can say that, especially with the same partner.
Thing 5: I am currently obsessed with making jewellery & have even sold some of it.
Thing 6: My mum taught me to read, by reading me bedtime stories, by the time I was 4.
Thing 7: I have a weird and wicked sense of humour; well, so my kids tell me.
Now it’s your turn.

1. I’m afraid of failure and sucess.
2. I have no idea what I want my career to be.
3. I’m 24 and have started to realize I can now tell “kids” that I have shirts/shoes/ and other possesions that are older than they are.
4. I see myself as possibly being “the scary cat lady” in my neighborhood 20-30 years from now.
5. I like to doodle with gellyroll pens.
6. My peers give me strange looks when I tell them I like to crochet.
7. I carry both a dictionary and a journal with me at all times.
Great list, Heather. But you realise I will never talk to you again now – I didn’t realise I was older than you! (Just to clarify – I thought we were the same age, not older.)
Hi Laura,
Thanks for sharing your seven weird things. I think we may have a lot in common.
Hi Elizabeth,
He he, so you didn’t know. Oh well, what’s it matter? How old do you feel? I think that’s the important thing.
Love the list, I’ll have to share this on my blog. I too am an older mom (50) with 2 teens (well, one is 12) and a toddler! (And yes, all with the same husband!)
Hi Anne Marie,
I hope you do share your list on your blog. It’s so much fun to meet someone who is in a similar situation to me as far as the teens & tots thing. Lol. Mine are 19 & 17, though, and the little guy is almost three. Thanks for leaving a comment.
