Sex Education & Bristol Palin

Dr. Logan Levkoff, sex educator and author of Third Base Ain’t What It Used to Be, has an editorial in The Huffington Post about Sarah and Bristol Palin, choice and sex education.

It’s not working – but, let’s keep doing it and expect a different result and call it “the right thing.”

That seems to be the logic of abstinence-only education.

Isn’t that also the definition of insanity?

It’s the Republican Way. They nominate a woman, but she’s a woman in the mold of Phyllis Schlafly; one who would set the cause of women’s rights back twenty or thirty years.

I’m sure if a gay man ever makes it onto the Republican ticket, they’ll choose a Richard Simmons rather than a Neil Patrick Harris.
