Shaq’s Big Challenge – Season Finale

The last episode of Shaq’s Big Challenge aired last night at 9 PM eastern on ABC, and I made sure to watch it. We got to see the kids’ results after an additional four months, and in some cases it was impressive. For instance, my favorite kid (Chris) lost 77 lbs off an initial weight of 206. He looked amazing! Some kids didn’t lose as much, but they were all looking happier and more confident.
On the first episode, they did MRIs of everyone to show how much torso fat they had. They did it again on last night’s show, and the differences were amazing!
Shaq was able to convince the governor of Florida to get healthier lunches in school cafeterias (i.e., teriyaki chicken and vegetables instead of a corn dog and fries). His three tiered program including health, home economics and P.E. will also be implemented in Florida schools.
Now, let’s see this go nationwide and we’ll be getting somewhere!

  1. Pleas make sure that these letters go to Mr. Shaqulille O’ Neille

Please….. Shaq, this me Nicole Norton again……. Please…… the only people who I ever begged was my mother, the Lord and now you! LOL! I swear on my self that if you put me on this show, you would be so proud that you will pray that if you decide one more time to make a new cast, that someone will be as active as me…….! I am so serious. I have a good focused and powerful head with a beautiful mind on my shoulders. Give me a chance. You will be proud and not dissapointed……. Please

  2. I would LOVE for Mr. Shaq to read this!! I absolutely love this show. I voted it 5/5 Stars! I will not lie to you. I am so jealous of those kids. I am more active, more appreciative, and have no problem working out. It’s just that I do NOT have the correct materials. I PROMISE you, if you came to Chicago, and I signed and you approved, you would NOT be dissapointed. Ask my friends and family. They will all say that I am most active; more than the skinny children in my classroom. Please come to Chicago. You can reach me at my e-mail address: nicolen_2007@yahoo.com. I am 16 years of age and I am ready because all my doctors and the ones who care for me tell me that the longer I wait, the less quicker the weight would come off; so loose it now. I have no problem being active it’s just I do NOT have the tools. I am not shamed to say my weight, I weight 240 pounds and I am 5′5. I am a sweet person not a trouble maker. I have a great sense of humor so I would always make my teammates laugh. I am not verbally nor physically violent. Have no problem saying sorry if I did wrong to anyone. I have a prom coming up soon. I saw your beautiful. You all are beautiful, fun, happy and most of all healthy! I want to be exactly like that on my prom day! If you contacted me back, I would be oh so happy and you would NOT BE DISSAPOINTED! I promise you. You have word….

Nicole, I don’t think Shaq will probably read this, but I wish you the best in your weight loss. There are plenty of things you can do like cutting carbs and calories, and exercising more – even a walk around the block will help. Good luck!
