Way to go Kristin!!!
Help My Hurt has been following Olympic cyclist Kristin Armstrong since she wrote a guest post for Company’s Calling (Company’s calling – Olympic cyclist Kristin Armstrong talks about her osteoarthritis).
Well, I’m thrilled to tell you – Kristin Armstrong won gold in the Olympic women’s time trial, making her just the second American women’s cyclist ever to become an Olympic champion.
She finished the 23.5 kilometre (14.6 mile) course in 34 minutes, 51.72 seconds – 24.29 seconds better than silver medalist Emma Pooley of Britain. The bronze medal went to Karin Thurig of Switzerland.
Congratulations to all and what a great role model Kristin is to many who live with chronic pain or disease.
Go Kristin!

Canadian athletes aren’t doing all that well in this Olympics, so I’m happy to have someone to cheer for!
