When a High School Principal sent home a student for crossing dressing there was a big stir up. One question for you is how far would you let your child go to be an individual?

Wow, a totally touchy subject here, high school teenager cross-dressing.
I’d have him see the school counselor. Is the student really doing this
because that’s his true need to feel whole, or are they doing it to get
to their parents and the teachers, and mess with their mind.
The reason I ask is because a boy that used to come to our home to play on the computer with my step-son, doing pc games we bought him for a gift,
actually would come to our home with girl barrettes in his hair, and his nails painted girly colors.
Through my son I found out he wasn’t doing it because he had gay feelings, or cross-dressing feelings, he was doing it to get to his step-dad and a teacher at school he didn’t like. He just wanted to mess with their minds and manipulate them a little bit.
It kinda backfired on him though. His folks ended up sticking him in a mental hospital for about 5 months and he had a hard time ever getting caught back up with his school work when he went back to school.
He ended up dropping out, got the neighbor girl behind us pregnant, and had to start working for her dad, doing roofing. Roofing is hard, hot work, not a great life for someone I thought had more potential.
