Show A Gardener Some Love!

I’m not the only gardening blogger in town (you knew that!) there are tons of amazing gardeners blogging their hearts out all over the web – and some who may not be total gardeners, but who do like to post about it from time-to-time. I’ve recently seen some excellent posts elsewhere so I’m proclaiming it ’show a garden blogger some love day’ – I doubt they’ll make it an official holiday or anything, but you never know. People will celebrate anything – FACT today, July 21, is actually Legal Drinking Age Day and tomorrow is Rat-Catchers Day – oh yes it is.

Let’s see… rat or garden, rat or garden… um, I’d rather love on a gardener, and so would you…

A lovely post at May Dream Gardens – Embrace Annuals For a Happier Life – stunning images, sweet thoughts, and an overall happy-go-lucky sort of post.

An interesting garden read: Mean Green Mullein Machine – you sort of have to just go see it, but it’s fun and the pictures are cool.

My biased pick is from Peggy, not so much the gardening blogger, but I adore her. Peggy took a nice little trip to the Portland, Oregon Japanese Garden and is bringing it to you now.

My WHOLE blog pick is Garden Rant. This gem is terribly hilarious, sarcastic without being evil, and will crack you up as it comments on some of the finer points of gardening. A great read if you’ve never been.

Which garden blogs are your favorites? I know we covered garden tweets, but I don’t think we’ve ever discussed blogs. Hmmm…
