The length of the siesta appears not to be important, so any siesta is important. I know myself that sometimes mid afternoon I doze off off for a fraction of a second and then wake up unbelievably refreshed .. but that doesn&#039;t happen too often, sadly!

It also increases the risk of accidents and could contribute to serious, long-term chronic illnesses such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

I think I will be taking that nap now.</description>
