Simple Ways Of Recycling

There are various ways of helping out keep the load of garbage off Mother Nature. In fact, with a little part of each person chipping in, the whole world (and the entire environment) would certainly be cleaner and even greener.
So how do you recycle?
You may think that it needs much more than simple knowledge to get to recycle various items in our household. But you see, it just needs a little ingenuity and a little love for the Earth.
Buy quality products.
Yes, they may cost a little more but they certainly do last longer. In this regard, you can use the product for years and years and you need no throw it away. Thus, lesser garbage for you.
Small Items Equals No Bag
There is no need to use a plastic bag or a shopping bag if you are only purchasing a couple of items which you can carry by hand. Politely ask the clerk on duty that you do not need to use one. Better yet, bring your own backpack or handy shoulder bag to serve as your “shopping bag”.
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
Try to reduce the amount of items you buy. If not, go by bulk so you can easily save on packaging. Then reuse as much of the packaging and as much of your throw-aways as you can. And lastly, recycle anything that cannot be used anymore.

Like Marissa says it here, I`m thinking if you have to drive 2 miles to recycle, isn`t the benefit for nature/society none when you have to drive 2 miles to recycle? Wouldn`t it be better just to throw it away like ordinary garbage? Anyway those are good points you bring forth Noel… I whish more ppl would actually live that way, but the truth is. We are becoming a massive consumer nation, no reuse, as it is cheaper to buy new. Also its often cheaper and easier to not recycle, or buy the “quality” pricy goods.
