Singer Annie Lennox has back surgery

Annie Lennox, known for her songs like Through the Glass Darkly and Love Comes, had to undergo back surgery to repair an injury that she sustained in a fall.

According to an official announcement on the singer’s website, she had been injured earlier this month while attending the International AIDS Conference in Mexico. She has since undergone spinal surgery to release pressure on a nerve. Annie Lennox is now at home recovering from the surgery, which was deemed a success.
