Sleeping in my own bed….

No, I haven’t kicked Bald Man out of bed yet, but his quirky habits have him not far from it. No, not that kinda quirky. The kind that makes you think you’re normal when you wake up your spouse at all hours of the morning so that you can straighten up the tangled covers.
I actually like tangled covers. What if I woke him up at all hours in order to tangle up the straight covers? Huh?

Yeah right. That’s not me. If I’m sleeping, I’m not waking up for anything besides a certain 4 and 2 year old who think it’s fun to come in and play Squish Mommy in order to get her up.

Anyway, all that to say that I get my own bed for 4 nights in a row!!!! Bald Man is kicking my best friend and me outta town for a few days, and I just found out that my aunt has a spare full-sized bed and a comfy queen-sized pull out. My own bed! For four nights!!!!!

Yes, I’ll miss Bald Man and the kids desperately. From my own bed.

South Carolina, here I come. :) No chance of snow there!!!!! :P

Hubby and I argue over sleeping habits all the time. Our solution to the blanket problem was to just sleep under different comforters.

Of course, I do still kick him when he snores louder than Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth. Then I pretend to be asleep.

My husband is always hot, so I have my own blanket. That being said, I get my own bed (I think) for four days in May. No hubby (nothing new) and no little one (hot damn!). :)

  1. [...] Nope, I’m playing Mr. Mom and sending Kerri on a road trip with her girlfriend. Apparently she’s excited to be leaving. [...]
