I just read about this cool promotion for the cause: Snapfish Pink Gives.
Snapfish, the online photo service, has been touched by breast cancer just like all of us have.
In 2004, Natalie Long, director of Product Management for Snapfish, was diagnosed with stage I breast cancer; and in 2006, Lauren Patterson, Merchandising Manager for Snapfish, was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer.
Snapfish is offering a customizable photo calendar (with stickers to remind you to do a BSE), notbooks and notpads.
When you order these products with Pink Gives! designs, 30% of the proceeds will go to BreastCancer.org, a non-profit dedicated to providing information and support to women and their families.
The money is going directly to breastcancer.org.

I figure, I’m in, I’m ordering some notepads today, right? But get this … I CAN’T ORDER A PRODUCT BECAUSE I USE A MAC!!!
Is that the craziest thing you’ve ever heard?
I’m so frustrated. The press release I read didn’t even have the name for the PR contact. Grrrrrrr!
Meanwhile, I did the work, I found a PR rep on the main Snapfish website. We’ll see how responsive they are.
