Sneaky!

We all know you’re not supposed to feed your pets people food. It teaches them bad habits like begging and being underfoot when food is around (though mine do that last one anyway), and can lead to health problems because the food isn’t suitable for them.
But admit it, every once in a while you toss them a small piece of ham or let the dogs gnaw on a leftover bone, right? Admittedly, we don’t do it often. Our dogs are small and we know something that we consider “a little bit” could be pretty substantial for them.
But the one thing they always get a bite of when we’re having it is popcorn. These dogs love popcorn. If we’re sitting on the couch watching a movie and enjoying a bowl, they’re both sitting on the floor staring at us, their gaze unwavering as they wait for just one kernel to fall. Honey will immediately take hers under the coffee table to enjoy while Chip just chows down where he’s sitting. Though I know their stomachs aren’t that small, they’re pretty good about leaving us alone after that.
What treats do you “sneak” to your pets?

Halley gets popcorn every now and then but mostly it’s scrambled eggs. Whenever Savie doesn’t eat all of her eggs Halley gets them.
