Snow Day – Day 2

Unreal! This is our 2nd day in a row where we were all snowed in and the kids were home from school. Of course the wife heads off to work and leaves me with all 5. Ok I am not complaining. In fact we have had a good time playing in the snow, sipping hot chocolate, and hanging out.

This morning was a bit rough though. We had gotten about 10 inches over night and the top inch or two is glazed over with ice. As you can imagine the shoveling wasn’t very easy. But the kids were able to walk on top of it. Check out this picture. Sorry for the lack of clarity, the sun was really reflecting off the top of the snow.
