Technique Tuesday!
I know that not everyone loves snow, but I do
Every snowstorm makes me grab my camera and head out, just as soon as I can without ruining it! I recently realized how many times snow figures into my work, like the pieces above and below. The links with the images below will take you to the tutorials explaining how to get that effect digitally.
So now I’d like to hear from you: do have snow-themed art that you’d like to share? I’ve got a few snow-loving artists lined up to share with you already, but I’d love to add your work to the mix…the more the better! If you’ve got snow-themed art you’d like to show, just email me at cyndi @ b5Media.com (remove the spaces), sending me your artist statement about the piece, a 72dpi image, your name and your link. Please put LUL Snow in the subject line!

I’ve sent you my snow picture. It hasn’t been played with except for setting the scene. Now I’m off to see how you played with your pics in Photoshop.
These are beautiful photos, Cyndi. I especially love the apple. The snow looks really soft and glitters in this shot. I’ve always loved it when the snow sits on red apples like meringues
Cyndi, those are absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
As for me, I love to look at snow pictures but not be anywhere near the real thing. LOL
… and thanks for the great tutorial links!

Thank you, guys! Sometimes around this time of year, I almost hesitate to mention that I like snow
