Orbee-Tuff SnowballTry something different to keep your youngster busy while you care for Grandma or Grandpa.  (Perhaps even the grandparents will enjoy watching.)  In other words…take some time for family fun.

In keeping with the theme, Winter in July, at another of my blogs, One Book Two Book , you’ll find a link to instructions for making snowballs.  Then have a snowball toss or “fight.”

(Even though it’s now August, pretend these are snow and will cool you down!  End the session with a snow cone.)

No, we didn’t have a freaky snow storm (although back in 1816 there were records of snow in New Hampshire during the “freezing year.”).  Char, at Camp Weary Parent, who collaborates with us on theme weeks, has the idea for Summer Snowball Fight

Have fun!
