While some countries this December to January is experiencing snow and the weather is really cool, our friends from Australia is feeling the opposite.
Based on the temperature forecast at wxmaps.org a good portion of the country would be experiencing about 30+ celcius. This solar gadget would probably be a nice addition to their attic.
Most people would probably know that the hottest part of the house is the attic.
The roof, exposed to the sun is the hottest part of the house structure and consequently, the attic becomes the hottest room.
Let me introduce you to a new term called ‘Attic venting’. Attic venting is an important aspect in maintaining a healthy energy efficient home. Proper attic venting will cool your roof extending the material life and reduces the load in your air conditioning system.
Attic venting also increases fresh air circulation. Powered completely by free solar energy, this efficient vent is both compact and quiet and installs easily. Operating up to 850 cfm, a 10 watt unit can vent up to 1200 sq. ft. A 20 watt unit operates at up to 1275 cfm and can vent up to 2,000 sq. ft.
