Solar Chargers Abound

While visiting other B5media blogs, I came across a mobile phone solar charger at The Gadget Blog that is small enough to be considered a keychain. Yes, it is that small and handy. And I think that if I had this gadget, I would be hanging it with my keys and would use it when my phone runs out of juice while I’m in the middle of the desert of something.

Anyway, I also learned about another solar charger from another site. This one is the Freeloader 8.0 and looking at the gadget, I am greatly reminded of a really sleek lighter. Well, the charger is way larger than the conventional lighter but I don’t know why I’m thinking about lighters when I look at the gadget.

And so this Freeloader 8.0 is available in two cool colors – Cool Aluminum Silver for those who would like their gadgets to be sleek and formal and Hot Pink for those who want a little variety in their gadgets. You can use this one to charge not only your mobile phones but it can also be used to juice up iPods.
