Solar Course Now Available

This coming semester in the fall of 2009, a college will be offering a course on solar power and all that pertains to it. This college is the Northampton Community College which you can find in Bethlehem Township in Pennsylvania. According to officials of the college, they just may be offering a course on solar technologies, installation of solar panels, and designing solar technologies.
In a news report, it has been mentioned that the Northampton Community College is just about ready to go about with this one because they will be using the $15,000 grant which the college has received recently. The grant was given so the school could actually put up solar panels that will help power the campus.
Leo Thielmann is the Northampton Community College’s director for Center for Business and Industry. On the new course, he says, “With this course, we are giving people access to a new and growing field of occupation. It is part of an overall green movement we are developing here at Northampton.”
