Come 2010, a lot of things would have changed. There would be a lot of new things and new trends. And though that may only be two years away, a lot can happen.

Now what is sure is that come that year, a plant that would be creating solar products would be operational by that time. It is estimated that during the first three months, this plant would already be on the go.

It is located in Singapore and the company behind it is the Renewable Energy Corporation which is based in Norway. It is a $2,000,000,000 investment but it is a really good investment. REC says that they are looking at this solar plant to have the capacity to create a huge number of solar products. In fact, they are estimating that by 2012, two years after the plant starts its operations, they would be able to see 740 megawatt wafers, 590 megawatt modules, as well as 550 megawatt cells.
