A brief bit of cancer treatment news for you today. The results of research led by Dr. Alexandra Trainaud was unveiled at the 18th International Congress on Anti-Cancer Treatment (ICACT) held in Paris last week. The news is promising: “Single-agent capecitabine is an active first-line chemotherapy for patients with slowly progressing [metastatic breast cancer], offering convenient oral therapy with minimal toxicity and no alopecia.” Capecitabine is marketed under the trade name Xeloda
