Solo Pity Party #204: DiGiorno Pizza and Fiddle Faddle

Worse to have a friend completely blow you off on a Friday night?

Worse still, that he didn’t even call to do it?

Bah. I’m just feeling icky tonight. I’m too cold for ice cream, so I went up to the convenience store and got a DiGiorno cheese pizza (no, not “for one”) and a box of Fiddle Faddle (popcorn, peanuts, caramel).

The movie “The Break-Up” with Jennifer Anniston and Vince Vaughan is on tonight, so I’m going to have a pigout in front of the television. Then I’ll do what my ex said I was destined to do for the rest of my life (yeah, he said it): Sit in a recliner crocheting and petting my dogs like an “old crazy cat lady”.

Don’t worry, the solo pity parties don’t last long… just long enough for me to get my head out of the sand and start feeling like I’m not the biggest loser on the planet.

  1. You know what does it for me? Ben and Jerry’s Phish Food ice cream. It’s milk chocolate ice cream, with marshmallow cream, caramel, and little chocolate fish. Yummy. And it’s also very effective when you are PMS.

I hope your Saturday is better than your Friday.

I’ve been feeling the need for a pity party myself. Hope you’re feeling better today.

Thanks girls, the weekend was full of mixed emotions for me, but I’m feeling better I think. (heh, think)
