Sometimes, being a working parent doesn’t dominate my thoughts
Just a random thought directed at no one or nothing in particular:
While being a working parent has issues, and, sometimes, challenges, it’s not always an angst filled existence. Or, at least it shouldn’t be.
Today, we got up, took the kids to great schools, and, went to work. It’s a perfectly nice day, I have a perfectly nice job, and, there’s nothing about it that warrants a deeper analysis.
It’s just life.

I’m glad to hear this!! I’m going back to work in the fall and filled with guilt!! You just have to live your life and make the best of it!!! One question – what about after school sports – when your working until 5:30 – 6 pm. How do you get your kids where they need to be for sport practice etc?
