So…what’s with the polls?

I’m trying to do polls once a week here at Help My Hurt and, every so often, I’ll mention them at the end of a blog entry as a reminder or to alert new readers.

To me, these polls are an integral part of Help My Hurt. Although we all have something in common – either living with pain, knowing someone who does, or doing research about pain – we also have very different experiences and challenges.

By doing these polls and encouraging you to participate in them, I get a better sense of who visits the site and what type of information we may need to dig up for you.

There are many people who really like to answer questions like these; it helps them feel like they’re having their say. That’s exactly what this is about. So, don’t worry, your answers aren’t disappearing into a void. They’re being noticed and acted on. At the end of each month, I’ll take the month’s responses and let everyone know what the results were and what I think I’ll be doing as a result.

Thanks for participating and helping this blog grow.
