Speaking of teen style – My God I’m raising a redneck

There are three teenage boys living in my household.  Each one of the three has very different taste and style. One is a little skateboarder type dude thinking he’s all hot and cool at the same time with his long lochs of highlighted hair. The second has sort of a Classic Rock kinda style with the vintage style concert shirts and worn out faded jeans. The third is a little redneck. God help me!

I’ve had conversations with him time and again trying desperately to explain that girls just don’t like that shit. Girls like a guy who combs his hair, not one that opts to shove it under a hat to keep from combing it. Girls like a man who wears jeans a little on the tighter side around the buttocks – not sagging mid buttock with a little crack winkin’ at them. And girls certainly don’t appreciate a man who can cough up a big loogy and spit like a pro.  For whatever reason, he believes girls look beyond him because of his brothers.

Ladies, girls, anyone of the female gender, regardless of age, can you please give a mom a lil’ help here?

When it comes to guys, what are some of the biggest features that you find a turn on or a turnoff?

I’d like to compose a list and give him to help in creating a whole new style makeover for him.

Shy of calling in Oprah for the job, I’m not sure what else I can do. Obviously me being THE Mom here leads him to believe I don’t know a thing about him, his school or the kids he goes to school with.
